Hello everyone!
Just popped by to say hello and introduce myself to all you lovely people here. I'm a forty-something year old mum of two, married to an amazing man. I was born in Wales but I live in England, not too far from London. Ever since quitting the London rat-race, I've owned a couple of florist shops and ran a landscaping business so I suppose it's fair to say that I'm more than just a little green-fingered! Oh and it took a while but we've finally moved out of our starter home and moved into what I would like to think will be our forever family home which we're currently doing up.
Sending you hugs, BettaDaze!
Thank you Angel. And look at you with your trained florist self! Good on you, yourself! 😄💐 Did you have your own shop?
Hello BettaDaze!
Welcome to Peppermint Teal. I have to say, I'm a little envious (in a good way!) of your gardening skills. My husband is always trying to get me to do something with our garden but I haven't a clue where to start. And as a trained florist myself, it's fantastic that you've had your own florist shops. Good on you, girl!
Hi there BettaDaze!
Nice to meet you! I'm not exactly what you can call green-thumbed but I'd like to be! So I guess you're the lady to call on for advice! 😁
Hi BettaDaze!
I'm not a gardener on your scale. Not even close. So that's kind of impressive. I have a small yard which I've enjoyed making look pretty but no serious gardening as yet. Though I'm hoping to get started one day!
Hello BettaDaze!
I have to say that it's a lovely skill you have being so green fingered and spending a lot of your time outdoors. We sadly do not have much of a garden - our house with it's period features has always been more of the focal point which is why we bought it - but if we did, I would really love to create a really splendid English country garden.
Hello Queen!
And you're right - it's all about the kiddos. So glad your life out of the city is working out so well for you all. 😊
hello Bettadaze!
I'm also a mum of two who lives out in the country because we wanted to give our kids a better quality of life. One of the best decisions we ever made. We don't live too far from London which is important as we have family and friends there but we don't really miss living in the city!
Hi Bettadaze. I'm another mum of two in my forties but unlike you, I'm not married to an amazing man. Mainly because my ex husband was never amazing to begin with! LOL! And congrats on getting your business off the ground. I started up my own business soon after moving to Australia. It's not easy and there's a lot of hard work involved but it's so worth it. 😊
Hi there Betta Daze!
I suppose I should congratulate you on escaping London and living a more fulfilling life away from all the madness! I'm London born and raised, but there are times I dream of escaping as well. LOL! Well that won't be happening for a while as work and family are what's keeping me here but maybe one day...
