It's a lovely idea to be able to give away things in perfectly good condition that you don't need any more. It's one way to be less wasteful. I have family who live in America and I know that in some neighbourhoods, residents leave out tubs with things that they want to get rid of and passers by are welcome to help themselves to anything that might take their fancy. It's a pity we don't have something like that over here in Britain. It's one thing to offer or ask for things that you might need especially if you've fallen on hard times. But it's another thing altogether to be downright cheeky. Getting work done in your home for free by pretending that you're keen to make friends with your neighbours, or guilting your new soon-to-be neighbours into giving you free lifts by claiming that your current neighbours are happy to drive you around is quite frankly a step too far and would definitely make me less charitable towards such culprits.

Hmm... I think I'll let you all know when I have children! Haha! For me and my sister, sleepovers were great fun and something we enjoyed doing throughout childhood. Either us going to stay at someone else's house or a friend/cousin coming over to ours. It's left us with great lasting memories but I know that not everyone has been so lucky, and the world that we live in we really do have to be careful. But I wouldn't want any children that I have to miss out on having a brilliant childhood and doing fun things. It's about getting the balance right. Yeah, I'll get back to you when I have children.

I met my husband while I was in my mid twenties so I don't really have much in the way of exes. It was never anything especially serious, so we're not friends but if I ever happen to cross paths with them, I'd be more than happy to say hello but that'd be it. I won't be adding them to Facebook or anything. And luckily I don't have to contend with my husband's ex girlfriends either. I agree with what everyone is saying. It's up to each person whether or not they want to remain friends with a former partner. No one should be made to feel as though there's one rule and one rule only. But if your current partner does not approve... well then you have a bit of a problem.

I'm with you Trailblazer. The arts are a big deal to my family and I. My parents worked in the industry, and I'm a musician. So I would definitely choose a name from a classic play, opera or musical. The names you've just mentioned are grand. I've always been drawn to Persephone or Hermione but I know a lot of people would have a hard time pronouncing them. For a boy, I like Benedict which I don't think is considered hip or trendy today unfortunately.

I'm English but I actually grew up in France and did my schooling there. I think the fact that we moved out there when I was very young and was able to pick up the language easily (Kids do at the age) is what enabled me to settle in quickly. I'm back in England now but I feel as French as I feel English, and both countries are very much home to me.

I've tried a mixture of avocado, yogurt and honey whenever my hair's felt a bit on the dry side. It works a treat!

I use chia seeds when I'm baking bread and recently I used them in place of poppy seeds when making a lemon and poppy seed cake. Or chia seed cake. I also make flavoured drinks with them and love the jelly like texture of the seeds. I know that chia seeds have a fairly high omega content but not sure about the other nutrients them.

I'm a musician and it's definitely music that kept me sane during these tumultuous times. That and baking as well. 😄🍞🍰 Music is my passion so I wrote songs, played my piano, my guitar. And like everyone else, kept in touch with family and friends as much as I could.
